There was joy and excitement at African Rural University (ARU) on 30th 04 2021 as it held her 6th graduation virtually with 11 students receiving their Bachelor’s degrees in Rural Development.

The colorful ceremony was held at the University’s main campus at URDT in Kagadi town, Kagadi district.

ARU Chancellor Justice Ezekiel Muhanguzi asked the government to appreciate the Private sector such as ARU through funding their activities.

He urged the graduands to use the available opportunities of job creation instead of looking for jobs after university studies.

The Vice-Chancellor African Rural University Dr. Mwalimu Musheshe was applauded for exhibiting transparent and effective management of funds from sponsors for smooth running of the institution and the entire organization URDT.

Justice Ezekiel says since ARU started, there has never been cases of misappropriation of funds, strikes among teachers and students among others, asserting that, such customs should be stick on.

Presiding over the function, Dr. Emmanuel Kiiza Aliba the Chairman Board Uganda Micro Finance Support center called upon the youth to stick to education and complete all the education levels that will make them a generation of substance.

The jolly speaking graduates expressed their readiness to face the competitive world by creating their own jobs in addition to the available jobs of being change-makers in communities.
